ARLO joins XIV Florence Biennale 2023

Hi, I'm Arlo.

I am a Filipino Architect and emerging Artist based in Basel.

Last week I got the confirmation from the Curatorial Board of Florence Biennale that I am accepted to participate in the upcoming major contemporary arts and design exhibition XIV Florence Biennale 2023.

This is one of the major leaps I have been waiting to finally have, a chance to show my ATTENTION Collection to a worldwide audience in a respected Art Exhibition in the arts capital of Italy, Florence.

I am planning to show three pieces of art— A Chair Art, and two pieces of 100x 120 cm of Acrylic painting on a canvas board. The Florence Biennale's theme is "I AM YOU", and I believe that my current collection is fully aligned with it. I created this collection hoping that people can find themselves in my paintings and also recognize the value and power of attention, individually and collectively.

For your additional information, this GoFundMe Fundraiser will be running until end of June 2023. But, since I'm planning to avail the installment payments, I will be submitting the first 25% of the total fees by end of April, another 25% by end of May and the remaining 50% by end of June.

I strongly believe that this is the perfect time to grab this once in a lifetime opportunity to join a Biennale. It is not all the time the theme fits one's collection topic, so I hope you can support me on this journey of creating a strong foundation for my art career alongside representing my current country Switzerland and my home country The Philippines.
