This Go Fund Me Page, at the urging of my family, is set up to help me during my 2 1/2 to 3 month recovery period after masectomy surgery. I am on chemo for months to reduce the mass away from the pectoral muscle prior to surgery so surgeon can get clean edges. Since I am a 24 hour live-in caregiver 5 days a week, I will have no income during my recuperation period. My job is considered at-will , which means if I don't work I don't get paid. After researching disability options, that doesn't seem to be an avenue available to me - work, state or SSI, hence this Go Fund Me Page. I appreciate all the support I have been given by so many people under the previous Go Fund Me Page. I had to close that down due to an old pricing platform that was set up through my Caring Bridge site.
