Raising Medical Funds for Ari’s LCH Journey

On 12/24/2018, at almost 7 months-old, Ari was diagnosed with a rare form of white blood cell cancer called Langerhans cell histiocytosis. She will start the new year with beginning her chemo treatments. She will have weekly chemo and steroids for 6 weeks. At that point the goal is for her to be in remission, and for there not to be any sign of ongoing cancer. If that’s the case, she’ll switch to chemo once every 3 weeks. If the response isn’t adequate after the first 6 weeks, we’ll re-evaluate and might either try another 6 weeks of weekly chemo, or switch chemo agents. Our hope is that she’ll be cancer-free after that first 6 weeks and that the maintenance phase will prevent any recurrence. 
This go fund me will be used to help Ari’s family with medical expenses and also traveling expenses, since all her care will be done in Seattle and family lives in Tri-Cities.
