Hello!
I am a musician/songwriter from California. I have been singing all of my life and playing guitar and ukulele for the past 5 years. I have particularly been inspired to compose music to the sacred Writings of the Baha'i Faith (bahai.org). A most great Exemplar in the Baha'i Faith, by the name of Abdu’l-Baha says that "All art is a gift of the Holy Spirit. When this light shines through the mind of a musician, it manifests itself in beautiful harmonies...These gifts are fulfilling their highest purpose when showing forth the praise of God.”
I believe music has the power to touch our hearts and spirits and as an artist I strive to combine these beautiful scriptures with melodious tones to inspire and draw us closer to our Creator. Having now created a collection of pieces, my hope is to produce a devotional album entitled 'Arise'.
These songs combine spiritual teachings with the tones of acoustic guitar, ukulele, violin and percussion. With your help, my goal is to raise enough to release this album by July 30, 2015.
