ARION Royal Henley Trip

Please help support ARION (Advanced Rowing Initiative of the Northeast) race at Royal Henley Regatta in England from July 3-7, 2019! ARION is the elite team out of Saratoga Rowing Association and is located in Saratoga Springs, NY.
All members of ARION are training with goals of racing at the World Championships and Olympics, and this international race experience will be integral to achieve those goals.
This year ARION is sending a women's quad (4x) to race in England. The quad will be made up of Lily Keane (Barnard 2013), Mo McAuliffe (George Mason 2011), Kristi Wagner (Yale 2015) and Kara Soucek (Gonzaga 2016). The boat is coached by SRA executive director, Eric Catalano. Some previous highlights of their rowing careers include Kara and Mo raced in the USA quad at the 2018 World Championships, Mo and Lily won the women's double at the Head of the Charles in 2018 and 2017. Kristi won the women's double at Canadian Henley in 2018. Racing so far this year, all four women finished in the top 8 in singles at the US Trials 1, and Lily and Kristi finished third in the double at US Trials 2.
We have been working hard together all year and are excited to continue our hard work in a race environment. Any donation will help make a difference as our trip is entirely self funded. Thanks in advance for your contribution, we appreciate it enormously!

(Sra): SRA's mission is to provide education, training, instruction and participation, in the art of rowing to the youth and adults of Saratoga Springs, NY and the surrounding communities; to support and encourage the sport of rowing within the principles and standards of the amateur rule; to educate the public on, and make available to them, the advantages of rowing in pursuit of good health and physical development; to provide a recreational outlet for young people; and to organize, sponsor and promote participation in amateur competition through regattas.
As a side, all ARION athletes coach the SRA juniors during the year and are largely intertwined with the Saratoga Rowing community.
