Ariel's Recovery

Ariel is an 18 year old senior at Agoura High School. His passion is basketball, and he grew up playing club basketball for several years, as well as playing on his high school team. In December 2017, Ariel was suddenly paralyzed. One day after coming home from the gym, he gradually lost all sensation and mobility in his body from the neck down within a few hours, leaving him completely paralyzed. Ariel went from living an active life to spending several months motionless, confined to a hospital bed and undergoing countless tests. Our family has tried relentlessly to seek answers about his condition.

His diagnosis is likely to be Transverse Myelitis, an inflammation of the spinal cord. Ariel is slowly regaining feeling in his body as he adjusts to life in a wheelchair. He is making small improvements each week, but not without the cost of hospital bills, physical therapy, and around-the-clock care and help. Your donations will go towards covering these costs and seeking out the appropriate treatment to help get Ariel back on his feet. Any contribution is appreciated, and our family would like to thank you for your support.

Kambiz Aramnia is Ariel's father, and will be the one to withdraw the funds from the account.
