Arias Family Harvey Relief Fund

My name is Melissa Tapperson and my Uncle Raul and Aunt Pilar's home in Kingwood, TX was flooded by Hurricane Harvey. I am forwarding this on behalf of my cousins and their parents:

"Our parents, Raul and Pilar Arias, like so many Houstonians without flood insurance, have lost so much.  The first floor of their home was taken by the waters of Hurricane Harvey.  The emotional rollercoaster of walking into their home where we have all built memories along with gutting their walls to the studs has been so hard.  We are so thankful to the many who have physically come out to serve my parents, and my father, in his 70s, has been a rockstar as he has worked so hard for his family.  Now that the immediate physical work is done as we enter the "drying phase", many have asked how they can help.  They have lost everything from furniture, to electronics, to shoes and clothes, not to mention the cost of rebuilding.  That is why we have decided to set up this fund.  The love and prayers that you all have shown my family has been beautiful. It has brought tears of joy to us all.  Thank you for giving to our parents.  We cannot thank you enough!"
