Hi! Today I would like to thank God for his goodness. I had always struggled with severe abdominal pain and food sensitivities and the doctors had no answers for me. After a gargantuan abdominal attack three months ago, for the first time I was unable to eat - anything...
I rapidly lost weight, nutrition, muscle strength, and bone mass I'm sure. A gazillion doctors appointments and testing followed, all negative. Desperate, I searched for the help of a naturopath and recently an acupuncturist. I fully trust their knowledge and through their help and therapies, I have slowly been able to eat solids and maintain my weight. They have diagnosed me with adrenal fatigue following periods of chronic stress and severe nerve damage following the abdominal attack as well as a low functioning liver and the promise of autoimmune disorders in the near future. In short, my body is shutting down. At times, it was all I could do to get dressed in the morning and go lay back down. I am missing lots of work and struggle to make it through a workday adding to the pressure of illness and medical costs.
As you can guess, the medical bills have been piling up and necessary therapies and supplements add up to thousands of dollars. As much as it isn't in me to ask for money, I feel led of the Lord to ask those of you who feel led to do so to give. After much prayer, I will be continuing acupuncture and pursuing a cutting edge technology called neurofeedback for those who experienced great amounts of chronic pain and stress.
With all the testing and therapies, I am needing to raise $4,000 by December 1st. The doctors have assured me without these therapies that I will continue to have symptoms. Please continue to pray for wisdom and healing. I am so comforted by those who have begged for God's healing on my body - He has heard and is answering those prayers! Jose has been a sweetheart making meals for my limited diet and ensuring I take the many supplements I am on. Please pray for him and if you wish to help with meals, let him know. I am so grateful for the support of friends by way of needed items and much needed food! I am thankful to God for His many blessings and trusting Him for complete healing from this and even former symptoms!
