Hair Aid Philippines Project January 2022

More information about Hair Aid Inc.: Hair Aid is an Australian charity. Volunteer hairdressers teach people in critical poverty, how to cut hair, so they can earn money and live.

On January 9th 2023 a small team of us (6) will be joining the Hair Aid Charity in Manila, The Philippines to change people’s lives. We will be volunteering at a men’s prison for 5 days in which we will be teaching the people there how to cut hair.

The training that we will be providing here means that when the men are released, they have an opportunity to use a skill to earn honest money and not return to drugs or other criminal activity.

This is a complete non-for-profit initiative therefore we each need to raise roughly $4000 each to cover our travel, accommodation and costs to get there.
