I USED MY BOOK TO HELP THE HOMELESS!

Hello all!! As you already know, I am writing a book about my rocky past and how I healed from it. This book will be a guide to helping others heal from many road blocks from their past as well. I am excited to share my story with you! As a child, I remember being abused in foster homes, going to bed without food and sleeping in the cold for several nights. I know how it feels to have your own mother to tell you, that you are not her child. I know how it feels to seeing my dad alive and dying homeless felt like. I remember all of those awful things. Once I realized I could not continue to let those things hold me back, I started to use them to play the biggest part in my life. I used those obstacles to heal! I had to make a change in order to renew my strength and become successful in healing. I knew, that I had to take the first step and not depend on anyone else to take it for me. It all had to start with changing my mindset. I had to believe! There are so many people that are hurting from different past hurts. Past hurts from from their mother and father not being in their lives, homelessness, abuse and many more reasons. Many of them do not know how to heal and move on. Causing them to stay stuck. Many of those people are playing the victim role, now in their adulthood as a result. They do not know, how to start the healing process to gain closure. I wrote this book to help people. People that need the help and want the help. I want people that are going through hard times to know, that there is a light a the end of the tunnel!
In order for me to help people with their healing process, I need assistance with meeting the financial goal. Over the course of this past year, I have done the manuscript, book cover and editing. To get my book “Are you Unlucky,” finished, the cost is about $5,400. For this reason, I have created a GoFundMe to help cover some of the cost:https://www.gofundme.com/manage/are-you-unlucky. A portion of the proceeds from each future book purchases will support Atlanta Mission to end homelessness.
