Ardena's Battle with Severe Crohn's

My amazingly strong, brilliant, extremely hard-working, beautiful, and sweet co-worker has endured a life-long battle with an extremely severe case of Crohn's disease. The inital diagnosis occured when she was only 9 years old, though she had symptoms as early as the age of 6. At the age of 16, Ardena went into a coma for 4 and half months, due to complications from her Crohn's. She was never expected to wake up from that coma. Yet, she did. She is a fighter.
She is only 29 now, and is still fighting. She didn't even want me to start this campaign. Ardena clearly stated that she does not want sympathy. That's how incredibly strong she is, despite constant pain. Her exact quote was, "Please, you don't have to do this. So many people have it so, so, so much worse than I do." This quote shows her heart, her drive, her sheer, unassailable will to continue her journey here.
She is a miracle, and inspires so many of us to keep fighting constantly. For the last 20 years, she has endured multiple long stays in numerous hospitals, constant pain, painful surgeries, constant medical procedures, and tests. Unfortunately, she is back in the hospital again, and has been there almost a week. We are not sure how much longer they will keep her until they determine if surgery is necessary, as they have not yet determined if she has a perforation in her intestines (again). She has not been allowed to eat, or have liquids for over 4 days. She is receiving all nourishment through an IV.
We work in Fine Dining, which is similar to contract work; thus provides absolutely no sick leave, PTO, vacation pay, etc. So when we miss work, we literally make no money. Her medical bills are accumulating, and the last thing we want (both her family and her 'work' family) is for Ardena to worry about missing work. We want her to get better, and to NOT be in pain any longer. She has an absolutely beautiful heart. She has been suffering so terribly, it is breaking our hearts. Any help towards her medical bills and missed wages would be appreciated. She is an absolute angel, and a complete inspiration to all of us. Namaste.
