Send UTSA Drone Team to Nationals

Hey everyone, we are the Aeronautics and Rocket Club at the University of Texas at San Antonio. We design and build rockets ranging from low-powered to high-powered rockets capable of reaching altitudes of 3 miles above earth's surface. On our Aeronautics side of the club, we design, build  and train students on how to fly racing drones that can reach speeds of over 100 miles per hour. We educate student members of our club on valuable skills that go with building a drone such as soldering, electrical knowledge, part knowledge, and much more.  As a special project of the Aeronautics and Rocket Club, we also have a Collegiate Drone Racing Team representing the University of Texas at San Antonio.

We have competed locally at a BlackJack FPV Drone Racing competition and have won third place in January, 2018. Soon, our Collegiate Drone Racing Team will be wanting to travel to the Collegiate Drone Racing Association (CDRA) National Competition in Indiana  where more than 25 universities plan to compete.  We have qualified for the competition in late January of 2018 but unfortunately, we do not have enough parts (goggles, transmitters, etc.) for our pilots and do not have enough money to cover our travel expense.

Please help us by donating a little to our GoFundme to help us get the parts needed and travel accommodations needed to compete at the Collegiate Drone Racing Association National Championship at the beginning of April 2018.  All donations will go towards travel and parts needed to compete for the UTSA ARC Collegiate Drone Racing Team.
