Archie’s double hip surgery

Hi guys, my name is Kirstin and that fluffy guy in the cover photo is Archie! We have had Archie since he was 4 weeks old when we found him in the middle of the road on a random tuesday. He is now 2 years old and earlier this week we discovered that he has Legg-Calve-Perthes, a hip disease that is mostly common in dogs, that has caused the blood supply to his hips to stop, leading his hip joints to become weak and break. He has one completely broken hip and the other is very close to breaking. He is scheduled for a double femoral head osteotomy at the end of this month, which means they will remove the top of his femurs leaving scar tissue to heal his hips and create a new joint. This surgery is going to cost $3,500 and I would greatly appreciate any help I can get!! He’s the sweetest boy and has so many good years ahead of him! Thank you so much!
