Archie's critical care and end of life expenses.

Hi, my name is Maggie. My beloved cat died on April 11th at 7:34 a.m. at the hands of a local bonded & insured pet sitter despite every measure I put into place to ensure his safety. The pet sitter was not honest about their qualifications with regard to management of a pet with medical needs nor did they follow my back up protocol should issues arise. My cat was a diabetic. The sitter skipped insulin shots or did not properly inject and my cat went into a diabetic ketoacidosis over a 5 day period. Despite life saving efforts at the UW Vet Hospital, He died a horrible death and did not deserve this. He was so brave, beautiful, and sweet. I miss him so very much and I am heartbroken. Even the Vet cried when he passed. Heaven received a lucky star! Please consider this cautionary tale before leaving your pets with anyone. This GoFundMe is for Archie's final expenses, his sister cat Piccolo's unexpected vet bills as she struggles with losing her lifelong partner, and monthly payments for the 10k in vet bills that were amassed in an attempt to save Archie's life.
