Archie and the Halo Kittens
Donation protected
Hi my name is Patricia
to call me a rescuer is both true and misleading. As the term rescuer carries an air to it that funding is somehow already secured.
im a regular person who knows how to rescue and strives to refine my healing skills daily. im able to take advantage of rescue discounts. Most recently, I noticed a post that gave me a bad feeling. Something wasn’t right. It was asking for help for two kittens found in the rain. Well when I showed up, one kitten was in an ice cold towel dying. the kitten was wrapped deep inside and the finders confirmed they were unable to offer food since picking them up 6 hours ago. One kitten was fluffy and dry. Thinking back… the kitten that was dying was probably already discarded on the back deck until I called. This had me… rush to the ER at night with the kitten taking his last cries, breaths and defecating himself limp in a taxi. Praying so hard for him to stay and for enough money to come about to admit him. VERG animal hospital immediately rushed him upstairs and I borrowed against all common sense for me financially and notified all social media that i still was short for this emergency stay. Angels of donors came through from all around. It was miraculous. And Archangel (kitten) was stabilizing in critical condition upstairs. I stalled the staff for down payment for hours. Eventually, leaving the hospital with his brother to care for and knowing one more was still out there.
eventually i was able to rescue the last kitten and named them Archangel (Archie) Halo and Cherub. Each with significant respiratory distress i healed the brothers at home and took Archie home against hospital’s advice early due to lack of funds to complete his care at home. All of their respiratory issues have resolved showing compromised eyes in need of special care. Cherub needs an eye enucleation, Halo needs corneal scarring care and Archie needs to see a specialist regarding his joined inner eye lids. There’s still $1600 left from Archie’s stay at the hospital to pay off, appx $500 of a specialist’s visit costs for him to book, appx $1100 for Cherub’s eye enucleation… all of the medications and ongoing care costs… to pay for. Your donation here will help pay for their care needs and free me financially to rescue others in the future. Thanks so much for any consideration.
