Archer's Search (lost for 4 weeks)

Video by Leslie Fee -President of Embrace
Archer is lost in the forest trails in Cultus Lake, BC.  We believe he is still alive as people are calling in who have spotted him in the last few days.

Archer has been missing since Aug 18th.  He was camping with his adopted family when they made a very unsafe decision to tether him while they were gone for a few minutes.  Archer had only been adopted for 2 months at this time and pulled out of his harness and fled for the woods.

The family looked for him for 3 days but no luck.

Embrace was  notified by the family 3 weeks later and we have been looking for him ever since.

The family did hire Al from Petsearchers (bloodhound searches) at Embrace a Discarded Animal Society's request but haven't the money to fund this search.

Embrace a Discarded Animal Society is now taking over the welfare of sweet Archer and we ask for your assistance in helping us to fund the search with Petsearchers.

Archer:   was picked for rescue by the founder, Leslie Fee, personally on one of Embrace's trips to Oakland Shelter in CA to pull dogs in need.
When Leslie first saw Archer she gasped...Archer had been so badly beaten by another dog in the shelter cage he was in.  His sweet face ripped, torn, and terribly swollen.  Leslie knew his chances of adoption were slim by his appearance and quickly swooped him up to journey home on the Embrace bus back to the Rescue Ranch in Blaine.   Leslie felt so bad listening to Archer trying to breath through his swollen face and cared for him all the way home.

Archer was a favorite at the Ranch, and being so hurt never stopped him from being a friendly sweet and very affectionate dog.

He stayed at the ranch for 3 months before adoption and we grew to love him very much.   This little guy is a survivor and just needs are help now.

Please help us find Archer.  We can't stop rescuing dogs while the search continues, but we can't leave our little guy out there cold, hungry, and running from coyotes either.

Al from Petsearchers has a great reputation for finding dogs weeks and months after they have gone missing.   We are hoping Archer will be found quickly and if we do have any money left over, we will put it straight towards vet bills.

We can offer a tax receipt for any donations over 20.00

Thank you for all your support as always...by working together we can really get things done.
