Cure Kaitlyn's Chronic Pain

Hello,
My name is Kaitlyn Harris and I am 20 years old.I hail from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and for 5 and a half years I have been suffering severe pain 24/7 in my ankle due to an enchondroma in my talus. I have endured 6 ankle surgeries and tried many treatments to no avail. My talus is left deformed from the damage caused by the tumor, and is causing me extreme pain. I cannot leave my house without the aid of a walker and cane. I am on heavy duty pain medications in order to perform my daily functions. I am a former professional ballet student, having lost the ability to dance because of this benign tumor. I cannot fully support myself due to my disability, and I am likely having to put my second year of post-secondary on hold due to my worsening health.
My surgeons cannot help me anymore. They need to send me to an expert in North Carolina who deals with this type of tumor in the ankle and who specializes in surgery to repair the bone. I cannot afford to fly down to the US and receive medical treatment on my own.
This is where YOU come in. You can help me receive the life-changing treatment I need. I will be referred to the surgeon in North Carolina, and hopefully he can perform the surgery. If he cannot, I will then seek help at the Courage Center in Minneapolis which has a 3-week inpatient program for chronic pain management. My pain may never fully go away, but any reduction in the amount of pain I suffer on a daily basis will help me to reach my full potential and achieve my dreams!
