Support My Urban Ministry Study in NOLA!

Hello, my beloved community!
As you may or may not know from Facebook, I am in the midst of an amazing opportunity to learn the ins and outs of urban ministry in my second home of New Orleans at the Center for Ethical Living and Social Justice Renewal, the community ministry based out of my old home congregation, First UU NOLA.
I need to raise funds to cover my bills and living expenses in Tulsa (which sadly did not go on hold when I left), as well as my travel expenses back home. While the program pays a small stipend and I was fortunate to receive some assistance from my family, I had about $1500 of resources fall through after I had already committed to be here, and was cutting it close financially before that. I came here with enough to cover June and most of July, but August and my travel expenses home are not yet funded. Additionally, I do not start getting paid for my student ministry placement until the end of September, so I am hoping to raise a little cushion for that time.
Since you were so willing to support my ministerial development in sending me to NYC this spring, I thought I'd ask for your solidarity here. I'm learning valuable skills to bring back to the community ministry I envision in downtown Tulsa and beyond, which I'll be blogging about all summer. You can follow my current journey and clarifying vision at http://journeysofaborderwalker.WordPress.com/. I am committed to updating it at least once a week for the remainder of the summer and the foreseeable future to hold myself accountable to those who are supporting me in this process.
