My name is Khaled, and I speak to you today on behalf of my cousin Taghreed and her family of seven.

️ From Stability to Endless Tragedy

My name is Taghreed, I am 40 years old, a teacher, and I lived with my husband and our five daughters in a peaceful multi-story home.

My daughters: Tala (16), Lana (14), Aline (12), Judy (8), and Noor (4)—

they once dreamed of safety, education, and a bright future… until the war destroyed everything.

Today, I write from under the rubble, after our home collapsed and I lost my source of income.

Even the simplest necessities of life have become out of reach.

My daughters have grown thin and pale—their small bodies weakened not by illness, but by hunger, because food has become nearly impossible to find.

Aline’s Ordeal – The Bleeding and the Escape

My third daughter, Aline (12), suffered a brain hemorrhage due to shelling.

I was forced to leave Gaza with Aline, Judy, and Noor to save her life,

while Tala, Lana, and my husband remained behind.

Leaving Gaza was a harsh and costly journey.

We had to pay a broker $16,000 just to cross the border—on top of medical and living expenses.

I used to work for UNRWA, but as soon as I left Gaza, my salary was cut off.

I lost my only source of income, which once supported my husband and daughters.

Now, I’m in Egypt, struggling with high rent costs and constant anxiety over my family still trapped in Gaza.

What Taghreed Needs Today

Her dream is simple:

➡️ To evacuate her husband and daughters from Gaza to Egypt

➡️ To provide them with medical care and education

But the costs are overwhelming:

€5,000 per adult

€2,500 per child

The family also needs:

$10,000 for urgent living expenses (food, clothing, hygiene supplies)

$10,000 to support the girls’ education (school fees, books, devices)

$70,000 to rebuild their destroyed home—

not for luxury, but to restore a place of safety and hope.

A Reality Beyond Imagination

The humanitarian situation in Gaza worsens by the day:

Food, clean water, and medicine are running dangerously low.

Humanitarian aid has stopped reaching many areas.

Drinking water has become scarce and costly, increasing the risk of disease.

Food prices have skyrocketed:

A kilo of flour costs $50.

Cucumbers can cost $30–$50 per day.

There’s no gas for cooking, forcing families to light fires instead.

I am doing everything I can to save my family from this disaster,

but as the years pass, the suffering only grows.

Displacement has become a permanent reality, and danger stalks my daughters wherever they go.
