Help for Evan

Donation protected
This is Evan Espinoza from Long Beach, CA.  On September 26th his 4 Runner was stolen from a Seal Beach parking lot. This is his story.  Evan volunteered as an explorer through LA County fire department for 2 years. He graduated from Millikan high school in 2017 and started Long Beach City in 8/17 as a full time student. He completed an EMT program where he went daily from 7:30-5 daily. He then completed 300 hours of volunteer work to become certified. He was accepted into the Rio Hondo Fire Academy and he completed fire academy in March of 2020 as a wild land fire fighter. It’s a seasonal job and this was the first fire where he actually got to work and be part of the fire team. He hoped that all of his time working as a volunteer and the time he’s putting into wild land fire will assist him to get into a city fire department. On the day his truck was stolen (he saved up money for a 18 months to buy the truck) he was just back from 17 days at the Bobcat fire. He was still smiling and always happy and was so excited to go surfing in Seal Beach.  He enjoys surfing as it allows him to relax and at the same time enjoy the water and waves. He went down to Seal Beach as he frequently does.  After being in the water a couple hours and offering to give a friend that was here visiting he noticed his truck was gone. His friend missed a date and Evan and his friend Owen who had left his keys in Evans truck waited at the parking lot getting a play by play of the events unfolding in another part of town. The PD located his stolen 4 Runner and the chase was on. Unfortunately, the 4 Runner was totaled in the chase and Evan is now without a vehicle.  As well, Evan’s fire equipment was in the back of his truck. His fire boots and bag.  The boots alone were so expensive. They’re a special kind that are fire resistant. New work boots and phone were also destroyed. Evan now has to pay out of pocket to replace his boots and equipment.  Let's help this hard working young man out and show him what community is all about....Please help.
