Becky's Battle

In 2015 , Rebecca and her family laid  her sister April Brogan, a 28-year-old daughter, mother, and sister to rest.They were all completely devastated then, and are in disbelief now, Rebecca, is facing the fight of her life after being diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer in the spring of 2018.Rebecca has undergone chemotherapy, a double mastectomy,countless infections and a grueling course of radiation.
Several of Rebecca's lymphnodes tested positive after her recent mastectomy, radiation treatments are still being done at this time.
Her treatment facility is in Orlando, which means She and her family stay in a hotel on those days and return home for the weekends. Rebecca's mother Sandra, has had to step back from her obligations to care for her daughter. She has been by her every step of the way.
Rebecca is living with stage 4 Breast Cancer, IBC is a rare form of cancer, less than 200,000 cases diagnosed yearly.
She has been in and out of the hospital for months now.

She can really use our help. She is unable to work.
She has an 18 year old daughter.
Rebecca is a veteran of our country, she served in the Army.
She has been a friend to many of us in the community for a long time.

To date through a separate go fund, they raised $1,300.

Unfortunately, a lot of Rebecca's friends and swim team alumni's were not aware how sick she was.
We are planning a fundraiser here in Flagler County soon, to give Rebecca something to look forward to, something to give her strength and hope to keep fighting the good fight.
