Aquarian’ is a short film in its early stages of production, by an all-female and non-binary crew of young creatives based in Dublin. The film tells the empowering story of four friends who discover truly how far they’ll go to protect each other. We have ambitious plans for the cinematic look of this film and aim for it to have a nostalgic feel that will remind viewers of ensemble female friendships they would’ve seen in films like Bratz, Mean Girls, The Craft or Spring Breakers (among others). Our goal is to shoot the film primarily during the month of July. We are in the pre production stage currently, with our first shoot day scheduled for June 20th. The money raised from this campaign would mainly go towards film equipment like camera and lighting rental, additionally it would cover costs like feeding cast and crew, unforeseen shooting costs, and potentially covering screening and festival entry costs. Even donating the smallest amount can help us to bring this story to life and supports us as young Irish artists :))
