A Heart for Rob!

My name is Emily and on behalf of a huge team of family and friends I have started this site.  We have the best of friends who need a miracle and we can all help!  Rob was at work installing a fire sprinkler in Sarasota, FL nearly 6 years ago when a horrible accident occured.  Rob was electrocuted by a high voltage traveling through his heart, causing severe trauma. Over the past 6 years every specialist has tried to save his heart from the irreversible damage, but as of lately, all attempts have failed and he needs a transplant to save his life.  Rob has gone through countless trials, even stem cell research at the Cleveland Clinic.  He has a wondeful wife, Stephanie, and a very sweet and handsome 10 year old son, Robert.  Rob is in Tampa General CardioThorasic ICU as I type this, on LIFE SUPPORT. He was added to the transplant list last Thursday, but suffered a massive heart attack on Friday and it took the doctors 25 minutes to bring him back.  He was placed on a heart bypass machine and many other life saving devices and now we are praying he fights long enough and hard enough for a new heart.  Many people have helped to contribute to the funds needed for the transplant, but there is so much more needed.  The family has to stay in a hotel/apt on campus as we live over an hour and a half away.  The bills will surely be tough, but its the housing, gas, food, etc, that nobody had planned for.  There have been amazing donors to date!  If you have $5, $10, or $100 - it makes no difference to us!  All prayers for a miracle are needed and welcomed, too!  I promise that the money could not go to a better family, or a more deserving, loving family, than them!  Thank you!!!!
