Triathlete Cancer Treatment

Last month, July 2017, our mom a health conscious 3 time IronMan finisher was diagnosed with stage III throat & neck cancer. With radiation 5 days a week and chemo every Friday, medical bills are already beginning to 'show their faces' and very soon she will have to take a medical leave of absence, FMLA. This means during this time she will have no income and her job will no longer be contributing to her insurance. Two weeks into treatment and she is still trying to remain calm and collected. Our Mom has always been known for her strength in both character and physical capabilities. She is a mother of four girls & a grandmother to a beautiful 3 month old little boy; and she instilled in us what she instilled in herself, to take life head on and never be afraid of making your voice heard. We are now trying to provide the same pillar of strength and support that she gave us throughout our lives; to let her know we are all in her corner... Any contribution is greatly appreciated and alleviates more stress and worry than you can imagine. Thank you from all of us in the family.
