Ovarian Cancer

My name is Heather and I am about o turn 40 years old in September. It humbles me to even write this post. On Sat., Aug 20, 2022 I received the news that I have a rare Ovarian Cancer called Dysgerinoma. I am told that should one get ovarian cancer this is the one you want to have so the prognosis seems hopeful but it is obviously still cancer. Over the next couple weeks I will meet with the Oncologist and have a full hysterectomy surgery performed. Along with that surgery I will be unable to do many things such as work for at least six weeks. Once the surgery is complete they will be able to diagnose the stage of the cancer and create a treatment plan for after care. Over the next couple months this is going to put everything on my husband and support system which makes me so sad because we are not ones to ask for help when life knocks you down. So…I am asking for help from anyone who is reading this. Help that could include donating to the many medical bills that are sure to start piling up, help with just dad to day cost of living words of inspiration or even help with sharing this post. Anything will be appreciated for our family❤️
