Help Mary Gervasio-Hejka Beat Cancer

In February of 2014, our mother, Mary Gervasio-Hejka was diagnosed with lung cancer. Doctors found a 5mm mass in her right lung. Since then she has undergone surgery to remove a portion of her lung where the mass was, but some of the cancer spread to the closest lymph nodes. Currently she is receiving treatment through chemotherapy and radiation and is responding very well. She has a strong will to live and a great attitude. Mary has been a resident of Lemont, IL for over 30 years and is known and loved by many Lemonters....She loves her 6 children and more than anything, her 10 grandchildren....Unfortunately, she has not been able to work and the household and medical bills are mounting up.
