Rugby HSAA to Compete in Argentina

My name is Darien Pickett and I have been selected to represent the United States in international rugby competition in Argentina July 2014. I am a returning High School All American, having contributed to the 2013 U17 Team in the Wellington Tournament last spring, and competing in the 2013 Stars and Stripes game in Colorado last July. I am particularly excited about this opportunity as it allows me to continue to grow and develop as a contributing member of the National team and compete at a more demanding level of play. I am determined to hone my skills further within this program and to one day earn a spot on the Eagles team.
While the program provides most international travel and lodging expenses for members of the team, there are expenses that each player is responsible for (contentental travel, sports kit, and misc. fees). I am a rising college freshman and have obligated my resources towards my tuition expenses at Grand Ganyon University. I hope that you will support my endeavors with a small donation towards defraying the out-of-pocket costs. It is an honour and a privilege to be able to play rugby for the USA.
