Irish Lung Fibrosis Association

Dear Friends and Family, 

As Christmas is time for giving and caring, we wanted to raise money for the Irish Lung Fibrosis Assoication (ILFA).

ILFA is an organisation that was set up in 2002 to support patients and families living with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).

IPF is a progressive lung condition where fibrosis or scarring causes the alveoli (air sacs) in the lungs to thicken and harden. The fibrosis or scarring interferes with the normal transfer of oxygen from the alveoli to the blood stream and results in low oxygen levels in the blood and shortness of breath. 

ILFA is funded solely by donations, meaning fundraising is vitally important to support patients and their families living with IPF.

Noreen, Steven's mum, has been working incredibly hard to raise awareness for this brilliant organisation. Please see the video attached to get a  better insight into Noreen's life with IPF.
