April - Hit and Run Dog in SF, CA

April is a 4-5 yr old bully breed dog who was hit by a car on October 19th 2017 in San Francisco. The driver hit and run and April hobbled on her own back to her "home".
April is currently at SF SPCA where she will remain for a leg amputation, femur surgery etc. We do not know what the actual bill is yet, but so far it is over 2K.
April does not have an actual owner and does not belong to anyone; she has become the "office dog". The office does their best to take care of her, knowing that shelters are overwhelmed and pitbulls are often put down. She has had tough life and no real place to call home.
Despite this, April is a gentle and sweet natured dog. As much as the company loves her, the potential bill is overwhelming to her caretakers.
You help is beyond appreciated. I will update accordingly with actual scan of vet fees/estimates..etc.
