Against All Odds

Gina Arrieta -  a warm, vibrant and loving mom, daughter, sister and grandmother.   Gina has led a life of ups and downs, raising her 3 sons on her own for many years.   The most difficult challenge was losing her husband just a few years ago.   As a widow, Gina has continued to work supporting herself and living independently.   Navigating life on her own hasn’t been easy, but she always seems to find a way.  

Recently, though, Gina was unexpectedly hospitalized and underwent emergency surgery.   We are so happy to report that she made it through the surgery, but she is not out of the woods yet.  We’re hoping the worst is behind her and know the medical team is doing their best to care for her.

With mounting medical bills and a long path of recovery ahead, we are trying to ease as much of the burden from her as possible so she can focus on healing.  Anyone who’s ever met her, knows what an amazing person Gina is.  If Gina has touched your life in some way, or you can relate to where she is now, please reach out and do what you can.

Gina’s mantra has consistently been “never say can’t, but find out how”.  With that spirit in mind, we are hoping to take away the difficulty of her having to figure out the “how” in this situation.  We know that this Covid era is a tough time for so many people.  If you’re unable to help financially, we ask that you share her story and send prayers and well wishes.
