This Christmas my sister Helen Ramscar is raising funds to buy an ambulance for Ukraine's emergency services. This ambulance is a particularly special one - it has space for two beds. Currently it has one stretcher and an empty space where a second bed could fit. Previously the empty space was filled with a neonatal incubator and specialist equipment that has been removed already. With the help of ACT Special Car Centre, Helen can buy secondhand parts to fit a second adult stretcher into the ambulance and maximise its lifesaving benefit. This refurbished ambulance could rescue two lives together.

This appeal is to raise 20,000CHF / £17,600 / $22,300 to buy the ambulance, fit it with a second stretcher and deliver it.

Any donation this Christmas would be a huge gift towards this lifesaving gift for Ukraine.

Since March 2022 Helen has bought 8 quality second-hand ambulances in Switzerland where she lives, and with the help of the Ukrainian Embassy in Bern they have been driven quickly to their destinations in Ukraine.
