St. Richard Appalachia Mission Trip

Each year in June, 130 adults, college leaders and youth travel to Mullens, West Virginia for a weeklong mission trip to rebuild and restore homes for families and local establishments like the Food Bank and St. Vincent de Paul Center that serve the community year-round.
We represent God's hands in helping the people of Mullens them in many ways, such as having a warm house in the winter with new windows, a dry house with a new leak-tight roof or handicap access within their home. In our almost 20 years of commitment, we have become part of the fabric of this community, which welcomes us with open arms and gratitude.
The mission provides both inspiration to participants in helping others and by joining in prayer and discussion during dynamic evening programs. By the end of the week, not only have the missionaries changed the lives of those they’ve served, but their own lives will never be the same.
