Join Hanna and I in March 2019 on our YouTube channel “Those Wild Days” for our new series “OC Me” as we set out to take on the Appalachian Trail. We will journey from Georgia to Maine 2,190 miles over 5-6 months. Along the way I will tell my story from start to finish. I’ll talk about my battle with depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, fear of not being understood, coming to terms with the illness, mine and my families search for help, treatment, recovery, and more than anything...hope.
I want to help the world understand the seriousness of not only OCD but mental illness as a whole. As much as any physical illness, mental illness is real, it’s out there, and it is extremely misunderstood.
