<div>Todo empezó el 18 de diciembre de 2025, cuando comenzaron los síntomas que me llevaron a buscar atención médica. El 1 de enero de 2026 fui hospitalizado; me realizaron procedimientos para aliviar la obstrucción biliar (incluida una CPRE, colocación de prótesis y catéteres transhepáticos).

<div> El 6 de enero tuve que volver al hospital y, en total, pasé alrededor de 10 días hospitalizado. Durante ese periodo me realizaron 3 cirugías que literalmente me salvaron la vida. Hoy estoy en recuperación y, después de completar los estudios, sí soy candidato a cirugía.

<div>Ya con el diagnóstico confirmado y los estudios de etapificación, incluyendo el PET-CT (realizado el 19 de febrero de 2026), se identificó actividad tumoral en la vía biliar y ganglios del hilio hepático, además de una lesión en íntimo contacto con la cabeza del páncreas, sin poder descartar infiltración.

<div>La cirugía planeada es mayor: consiste en retirar aproximadamente la mitad de mi hígado (con la posibilidad de que sea más, dependiendo de lo que se encuentre) y existe también la posibilidad de que se deba evaluar o tratar compromiso hacia el páncreas por la cercanía que muestra el PET.

<div>Mi equipo médico ha sido claro: el tiempo es un factor crítico en este tipo de cáncer, y la intención es realizar la cirugía antes de que termine marzo.
