<div>He dudado mucho antes de escribir esto. Porque hablar del propio cuerpo cuando eres una mujer trans siempre te deja expuesta. Y porque pedir ayuda da vértigo.

<div>Pero la verdad es que estoy cansada de hacerme fuerte todo el tiempo.

<div>Mi pecho (o la ausencia de él) no es algo superficial para mí. No es estética. No es vanidad. Es algo que atraviesa cómo me miro, cómo me siento cuando me visto, cómo camino por la calle, cómo me relaciono con mi propio reflejo.

<div>Hay días en los que me siento preciosa. Y hay otros en los que la disforia me come en silencio. En los que me pruebo ropa y algo dentro se rompe un poco. En los que evito ciertos escotes. En los que comparo. En los que me duele.

<div>Y sí, he aprendido a sostenerlo. He aprendido a quererme en medio del proceso. Pero también he entendido que quererme no significa resignarme.

<div>Hacerme el pecho no es intentar ser otra persona. Es dejar de negociar conmigo misma. Es acercar mi cuerpo a cómo lo siento por dentro. Es poder despertarme y que la imagen que veo no me genere esa punzada pequeña pero constante.

<div>No necesito esta operación para ser válida.

<div>Pero sí la necesito para sentir más paz.

<div>Me cuesta pedir ayuda porque siento que debería poder con todo sola. Porque las mujeres trans aprendemos pronto a sobrevivir sin pedir demasiado. Pero también creo en la comunidad. En el cuidado mutuo. En que acompañarnos es revolucionario.
