El 14 de agosto de 2018, Diana de Cooper, esposa de Rogelio Cooper y madre de Karen y Karina, sufrió un paro cardíaco hacia el final de una cirugía. Como resultado, ella ahora está en estado de coma. A pesar de que ha mostrado pequeñas reacciones a estímulos, todavía necesita atención médica.
Actualmente Diana está en cuidados intensivos y los doctores están monitoreando y evaluando la condición de su cerebro. Aunque sus signos vitales son estables, ella todavía se encuentra en estado crítico y en coma, recibiendo toda la atención médica necesaria para ayudarla a revertir su condición actual.
Inicialmente, Diana fue trasladada al centro médico más cercano para salvarle la vida. Al tercer día de haber ingresado en dicho hospital privado, su plan seguro médico prácticamente alcanzó el tope de la cobertura de salud disponible. Entonces, el pago de los gastos médicos que no cubría el seguro nos dejó con una deuda. A esto se sumarán los costos de la futura atención post-aguda que vamos a tener que enfrentar. Por lo tanto, estamos recurriendo a familiares y amigos para que nos ayuden en la recaudación de fondos de aproximadamente $10,000 a fines de agosto.
Estamos agradecidos por la amabilidad que se nos muestra en este tiempo difícil. On August 14, 2018, Diana Cooper, wife of Rogelio Cooper and mother of Karen and Karina, suffered a cardiac arrest towards the end of surgery. As a result, she is now in a state of coma. Although she has shown a few reactions to stimuli, she’s still in need of medical attention.
Diana is currently in intensive care and the doctors are monitoring and evaluating the condition of her brain. Although her vital signs are stable, she is still in critical condition and in a coma, receiving all the necessary medical attention to revert her back to normal condition.
Initially, Diana was taken to the nearest medical center to save her life. On the third day after entering the private hospital, her health insurance maxed out. Thus, the payment of medical expenses that were not covered by the insurance left us with a debt. In addition to the costs of the future post-acute care that she will have to face. Therefore, we are turning to family and friends to help us fundraise of approximately $10,000 by the end of August.
We are grateful for the kindness shown to us during this difficult time. Although visiting hours are restricted, we value your continued prayers and declaration of total healing over her. We believe Jesus who began the good work within her will bring it to completion.
