<div>El domingo 22 de febrero, mientras integrantes de la organización Un Salto de Vida realizaban labores de observación territorial y monitoreo ambiental en el corredor industrial de El Salto, Jalisco, fueron víctimas de un ataque violento en el contexto de los narcobloqueos ocurridos ese día.

<div>Durante el ataque, el vehículo del colectivo fue incendiado junto con todo el equipo de trabajo: herramientas de muestreo, equipo de grabación, materiales de investigación y pertenencias personales. Afortunadamente, las personas se encuentran con vida, pero las pérdidas materiales fueron totales.

<div>Este vehículo y estos equipos eran fundamentales para el trabajo de defensa del territorio, la investigación ambiental, la denuncia de la contaminación industrial, así como para procesos comunitarios como el vivero, las reforestaciones y el cuidado del Bosque del Fin del Mundo.

<div>Support Un Salto de Vida: Solidarity in the Face of Violence

<div>On Sunday, February 22, members of the grassroots organization Un Salto de Vida were violently attacked while carrying out environmental monitoring and territorial observation work in the industrial corridor of El Salto, Jalisco, Mexico.
</div>

<div>During the attack, the collective’s vehicle was set on fire, along with all of their working equipment: environmental sampling tools, recording and documentation equipment, research materials, and personal belongings. Thankfully, no lives were lost, but the material losses were total.
</div>

</div>
<div>This vehicle and equipment were essential for Un Salto de Vida’s work defending land and water, documenting industrial pollution, supporting community processes, reforestation efforts, and caring for the Bosque del Fin del Mundo.
