Hello my name is Olivia, I am doing this go fund me for the sake of my dog Apollo aka Popo. He is my beautiful 5 year old French bulldog. Apollo over the last 3 weeks been experiencing excruciating pain, after several emergency and referral vet visits Apollo appears to have cervical IVDD. Although he is currently on a cocktail of medication this is leaving him in a vegetative state which is not fair, he is urinating on himself, we’re hand feeding him as he struggles too much with it all. He is having 24 hour care from me and my mum throughout the day and night. Apollo needs an MRI scan and operation that will cost between 6 to 10 thousand pounds depending on MRI results. We are advocating for the operation in the hope for a better life for Apollo as when he has a flare he screams the house down in pain. We cannot cope when he starts this as he can’t stand and falls over. This is breaking my heart seeing my baby like this, I would like to appeal and ask for any help even small to assist towards his continued vets bills. I have spent hundreds of pounds already on vets visits and medication but the operation is the next step which unfortunately is out of reach for me. I cannot lose him but I need to give him a better chance and get him out of the pain he is in as it’s unbearable.
