APO Alternative Breaks Trip 2018
Tax deductible
This summer, brothers of Alpha Phi Omega will travel from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Killeen, Texas for the fourth consecutive year. We will spend a week working at the Peaceable Kingdom Retreat for Children, a camp focused on empowering children of all abilities. During the week, we will help with their school program by facilitating activities, as well as complete a camp project that will restore an area of the camp that the camp's staff would otherwise be unable to complete.
In past years, this trip has been impactful not only for the camp, but for our volunteers as well. We are so excited to gain experience and knowledge through working with children and adults with disabilities and take what we learn back to our community in Ann Arbor and at the University of Michigan.
All donations will be greatly appreciated, and will be helpful in alleviating the costs of transportation, lodging, and food. Thank you!
