*As a volunteers for APNRT, it is our Social Responsibility in response to * Hurricane Harvey's epic Destruction in Houston* to raise funds for the effected families in Houston.
Hurricane Harvey is an active tropical cyclone that is causing unprecedented and catastrophic flooding in South Eastern Texas.
Key facts about this storm:
1. More destruction than any natural disaster in the history
2. Expected to dump over 11 trillion gallons of water
3. Largest storm in the history of USA
*As APNRT volunteers we would request every member to react to this cause and offer a helping hand to help the people affected by contributing towards this cause *
*Collected funds will be withdrawn individually by Madu Medi aka Madhavi Medi on behalf of APNRTand will be used
for providing home repairs for qualified needy families and meals were already distributed to over 500 families and first respondents during the first week. some of the funds will be used to cover the cost for these meals at the shelters.
10 needy families have been identified through an application process on need basis and each will receive a check and help from our volunteers to repair after the damages are assessed and professional quotes submitted.
