Shannon Brown of Nampa is fighting cancer for the second time in 12 years. Shannon was recently diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer which has spread into her hip bones and spine. This round is going to be a tough one. Shannon has a loving husband, 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. Funds are needed for out-of-pocket medical expenses and travel/lodging as they anticipate out-of-state travel for additional options. Travel + lodging + meals for a family of 4 + medical expenses. Please help this Cancer Warrior!
UPDATE: Shannon has been to Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City. As her cancer has continued to spread following 2 treatments, the doctor at Huntsman is going to try a different Chemo and run tests to see if Shannon qualifies for some trials. We now know there is an absolute need for travel and lodging expenses. Please help - and pray for our Cancer Warrior! Shannon is now having to travel periodically to Seattle and back to meet with her oncologist. She and her husband have older, VERY high-mileage vehicles. Could we possibly help them acquire a reliable vehicle for their travels to Seattle and back before the snow flies? $5,000 would help purchase a more reliable and safe, lower-mileage vehicle.
