Chris and Jessica’s baby journey

As some of you know I have been working for over a year to lose weight. So far I’ve lost over 100 pounds. There is a reason I decided to make drastic changes to improve my life over a year ago. My wife and I decided we wanted to be parents. I knew that my life was going to change and I knew that if I was going to be a good dad I needed to be around, I knew that if I didn’t make these changes I wouldn’t be around. I still have a little bit of work to do but we are ready to start our young family.

Our doctors have advised us that In vitro fertilization (IVF) is our best option for having a child. We decided to schedule the date for the procedure on 19th of April. It was our belief that we could pay for this by that date but like so many times life has its little surprises. We could always move the date out to the next open date in November and that isn’t something we want to wait and do. We believe that God can and will provide the remaining funds needed prior to the date.

That’s where you, our friends and family come in. We need your help! It would be easy to simply ask some people for help and keep things private but we believe that if God is going to provide he also should get the glory. The procedure cost over $18,000 and we have saved over $14,000, we’re just asking for a little help getting across the finish line.
