Art being removed from schools is becoming commonplace. This is beyond unacceptable... Art and play go hand in hand: raising one's spirit, self-awareness, self-worth and brain function all at the same time! Let's help dreams come to life and keep our students healthy, happy AND creative!!!
I am starting a business and bringing art classes to local preschools and schools in an effort to raise art awareness around the county as well as give students a 1:6 ratio approach to experiencing and creating artwork based on favorite artists/authors/illustrators.
Please help me to bring Autumn Sno Artwork to life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Business costs include:
Setting up the business...Between getting a license, a name and required newspaper publication, insurance for the year, a bank account for the year, Microsoft Office for the year, a printer & ink and office supplies-
I'll need over $1000. Yikes.
Material costs will include various amazing art supplies:
-Paint (liquid water color, water color, acrylic, multicultural, tempera, metallic, powder tempera)
-Paper (plain white copy, tissue, construction, animal print, sticky collage, scratch, coffee filters, canvas, mural)
-Stickers (craft, name tags, personalized, wiggle eyes)
-Drawing/painting tools (pencils, pens, markers, brushes, dot brushes, stencils, painting tape, stamps, stamp pads)
-Sculpting (clay, air dry clay, sculpting tools)
-Craft (wood shapes, craft sticks, scissors, pompoms, sand, yarn, tacky glue, beads, feathers, craft cups, glitter, hemp string, mosaic tile, pasta, chalk, craft bags, fabric squares, confetti, ribbon, magnets, tape, any common recyclable item)
-I'm sure more materials will come to mind.
I could easily spend $2000 on supplies!!!
Starting a business is scary but with my passion for art, it will be beyond rewarding! For those of you I already know, I'll get to work with your little ones once again (I cannot WAIT!) and for those of you who I will be meeting for the first time, I'm excited to be able to add art into you child's life! For those donating who live near or quite far, you have no idea what this start up means to me. Really, a dream come true. I am forever thankful.
Local donors, a donation of $50 gets you one free group class ($20 value) OR one free private lesson ($35 value), for use one time, whenever you like!
A donation of MORE than that gets you all that AND as many high-fives as you'd like! :) What a deal!!!
