Fcuk Cancer

Donation protected
A little over 2 weeks ago my daughter who has just turned 28 years old was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. To say we are shocked is an understatement. Before her diagnosis my daughter had finally found love and peace in her life and just days before we were discussing her wedding plans. Now we are discussing her cancer and treatment in the days to follow

On the day she was told she had cancer she almost lost her life from bleeding while her 10 month old son who was still being breastfed lay in the crib next to his mummy.

On that same day she was rushed for emergency radiation treatment to slow down her bleeding because nothing else was working. Furthermore her breastfeeding baby could no longer be breastfed.

So in the space of a few hours my daughters life and that of her family was turned upside down and not only are we/they still reeling from the news she has cancer, they are also now preparing for intensive treatment while trying to make their home as normal as they can for their 3 children who are aged 6, 5, and 10 months old.

Her fiancée without question gave up work to care for her and the children as she is very ill, in pain and needs help with basic care needs.

Starting next week week things become more intense as she starts treatment of radiation 5 days per week for 4 weeks, then straight into chemotherapy.
This alone is going to take its toll on her physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, so as her family we will rally around her and her children and care for them all as best we can.

As as you can imagine being a young couple with young children facing this heartbreaking disease is challenging in every aspect including financially and we are setting this page up to help ease the financial strain she and her family are experiencing.
We want for them to be able to focus on treatment and getting through this tough time without worrying too much about financial survival.

Unfortunately for my daughter she isn’t entitled to any welfare support here in Australia because she is from New Zealand and we haven’t been here long enough to apply for citizenship,

We are fundraising to assist my daughter and her family to get through this time and to enable her fiancée to be with her to care for her following treatment.

Please if anyone can make a donation towards helping my daughter and her family at this time we will be forever greatful.

All proceeds will go directly to my daughter and her fiancee
