Hurricane Maria aid for Yabucoa

As many of you know, the situation has become extremely serious in Puerto Rico. As the pieces of the puzzle continue to unfold, the one certainty is the island will struggle for resources in the coming weeks or months. Especially in the smaller towns outside of the metropolitan area.

Originally, my plan was to go to the island and help my family and friends out in any way I can (especially in my mother's hometown of Yabucoa) where the eye has entered and left a terrible path of destruction and where I still (to this minute) don't know the status of many of my relatives health/well-being.

As I debated greatly this evening how I was going to handle this (privately or publicly) I decided that it's best to make my efforts public and ask for help and support from those around me.

So I decided to start this page to simply give those that really want to help an avenue to do so.

Right now is my plan is simple -to prioritize my hometown in hopes to get supplies they will need in their hands as soon as possible.

As of now, my plan is to fly to the island in the coming days and go straight to my hometown to assess the situation and see what the priorities will be in terms of resources and needs. At that point, I'll put together a plan of attack to get supplies/aid needed as soon as possible.

This page is simply an outlet for those who really want to help and don't know how. What I can tell you is every penny of your donation is going to go towards helping someone in need in an area that simply will struggle to receive timely aid.
