I’m not your typical great grandmother!
At 66, most people are thinking about slowing down a bit but not me – I’ve just qualified for the 2017 UCI BMX World Championships in Rock Hill South Carolina USA.
I competed in my first BMX World Titles back in the 1980s and I’m back again for another go in 2017.
I work full-time for Disability Services Australia and am also the primary carer for my beautiful granddaughter Anastasija who has Down syndrome and is probably my biggest fan.
Competing in the US in July will be a dream come true for me and a once in a lifetime opportunity to take my gorgeous girl Starsie with me to cheer me on.
And that’s why I’ve set up this page to help us get to Rock Hill.
