Donation protected
This Family was already Homeless and feeling Alone right before almost being killed for no reason at all... This Is The Hardest Thing for me to Write right now... Ok, Around 4:30AM Wednesday, October 5, Demarian Acker and his Wife Vivian Acker were sleeping in their rental car that was also accompanied by there 3 small Children near 2200 N Oregon Ave just across the street from Tampa Park in Tampa, Fl. When a suspect (who we know now is Christopher Stamat Jr. ) drove in a dark colored 2-door BMW sedan pulled up in front of their car multiple times before Shooting 13 times into the vehicle.

The mother, my Sister, who is also pregnant was struck in the head, but she sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She still has a long journey ahead to Recover but is doing well. Her husband and three children, ages 9, 4, and 3, although Mentally Traumatized they were thankfully uninjured.

"The Acker Family"

"This Type Of Random Act of Violence Should Not Have Happened" My family was already down on there luck and was trying every program for homeless help they could find but no luck. They work Hard they just never got an upper hand. & here is someone who is well off... on there on time, tries to Eliminate them. The Road to Recovery is not Going to be Easy For Them. Vivians Medical Expenses, & The Family's Relocation, Transportation... They are Basically back at Square 1! I hate that this Monster Did this to HER! TO THEM!!

With that being said We are looking to Reach $50,000 to Help my Family get back what the Devil Tried to take from them. All proceeds will go Directly to THE ACKER FAMILY. They did NOT deserve this! She Does Not Deserve to Be walking around with a Bullet in her Head! Justice Will Be Served on Earth and in Heaven!

"ALL THE FAMILY CAN SAY IS THANK GOD WE ARE SAFE! & EVERYBODY IS STILL HERE!"

Tampa Police have arrested the suspect linked to the shooting on October 5, 2022, in which a homeless family of five was shot at while sleeping in their vehicle.

Detectives identified Christopher Stamat Jr., 21, as the owner of the black 2-door 300 series 2012 BMW seen on multiple surveillance videos canvassing the area of N Oregon Ave in the early morning hours of October 5. On October 6, Stamat’s vehicle was located in the garage of a home on the 3200 block of Marcellus Circle in Tampa.

After speaking with Stamat, he admitted that he is the only person who has recently driven his vehicle and that he was driving in the area of N Oregon Ave the morning of the shooting.

Detectives obtained search warrants for both Stamat’s vehicle and residence. Detectives located an empty gun box for a 9mm handgun in the vehicle and spent shell casings matching the casings found at the crime scene inside Stamat’s apartment.

Upon arrest, Stamat did not provide a motive for the shooting, but did state that he felt people were stalking and following him in different vehicles, on bikes and walking. There is still no indication that the victims, a husband, wife and three young children, knew or have any connection to Stamat.

Stamat is facing six felony charges:
Second degree attempted murder
Shooting into a vehicle
Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (4 counts)
