OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN AT LA LANTERNA
THE CORONA VIRUS HAS TAKEN ONE OF OUR OWN
ANTONIO JACINTO LOST HIS FIGHT ON MONDAY APRIL 6TH, 2020
Over the past 20 years so many of you have seen this smiling face when you walk into La Lanterna. This past week we lost Antonio to this awful virus at just 44 years old and we are devastated.
Antonio became part of our family when he was just a young man. He took care of our guests like he was taking care of his family and always with a smile. On his days off people asked for him, when someone liked something a certain way they'd say "ask Antonio, he knows" and if he saw you first he made sure it happened, without you even asking.
Antonio has been a rock to our family through the years doing everything from serving to booking parties and managing. But he was not only our rock, he had his own family. Everything he worked so hard for was for them, his wife Maribel, his 3 daughters and 2 grandchildren. He always made sure they were taken care of and they were his life.
Now it is our turn to be HIS rock and to make sure that during this time his family is taken care of. We know that this is a very hard time for everyone but we ask that you donate whatever it is you can so we can make this a little easier for them.
Even though we closed our doors early-on to keep ourselves and our staff safe from the Corona virus, it still was able to reach one of or own. We beg for everyone to please stay home and let medical crews and first responders do their jobs. With some help from above we can make it through this time.
We love you Antonio and rest assured that we will be here for your Family in this time of need.
