Dear friends and family,
Due to Hurricane Maria, Puerto Rico has lost power.
Dad's Nursing Home, Hogar Hacienda de Amor, in Bo. La Gloria in Trujillo Alto, lost its generator as it stopped functioning.
Besides my dad, there are 16 other elders (viejitos) in the home who urgently need a working generator with a good amount of wattage to provide for their needs until power is restored, God knows when.
We have opened this GoFundMe account for you to contribute what you feel in your heart to help us acquire this generator. We need approximately $2,200 the sooner the better for the "viejitos" essential needs, especially Dad who has developed a heat rash among other things.
