Antonio Armenta - Harvey Disaster

Hello World,
My name is David Armenta, nephew to Antonio Armenta.
My uncle Antonio and his family are one of the many victims of the treacherous Hurricane Harvey. They lost everything inside their home. Furniture, kitchen appliances, cabinets, walls, beds, desks, clothes, toys, books, pantry items, etc...were taken from Hurricane Harvey. My uncle, aunt, and their three elementary aged children are currently living at my house. We are safe from imminent danger but relief efforts are underway. We are in recovery mode.
One day during the storm my dad, uncle and I were at my uncle’s house trying to salvage as much food and personal belongings. Water was waist deep. During that time, we ran into Julie Turkewitz from the New York Times and the interview commenced. Please read below.

I'm creating this GoFund me page because it is to my understanding that there are people that want to help. I notified my uncle and aunt and they were blessed to hear the news. They are hoping to receive as much help as possible to rebuild their lives and to continue to be positive contributors to our society.
We are not asking for a handout, we are hardworking Americans and we work hard. Given the magnitude of the situation, our family is suffering a bit. If you would like to help please donate or send items to my house and my uncle and family will get it.

The funds will be given to Anotnio Armenta so they can buy food, make repairs to their house, buy cleaning material to clean and disinfect the house, to make the final payment to the house, school supplies, to help rebuild their lives.
